{the blogger’s note} photo compiler how to

Photobucket
After taking a considerable number of photos from these past few days, I safely say I gained a lot of knowledge and experience. However, it’s absolutely not enough to consider or even to think myself as a ‘pro’ in this field. Well, I’m definitely not. I believe learning is a continuous process and I still have to learn more to be better than my previous version. So what better way to documents this ‘learning process’ is to make a photo compiler! Yeah, now I truly believe printing your own photos leaves a kind of pleasure and satisfaction. Seeing them real on photo paper evidently marks a smile on my face! Life is good :)

{the blogger’s note} one afternoon

Photobucket
As promised, here are the rest of the photos I took one afternoon at school. The main reason it took me awhile to post is the book I’m currently addicted to; The Mortal Instruments Series. Literally, I sort of lost all my will power to blog ever since I started reading this beautifully written story of Cassandra Clare. I finished the three first books and now, I can’t wait to get my hands on the fourth and fifth ones; The City of Fallen Angels and The City of Lost Souls. I definitely recommend reading this one :)

{the blogger’s note} day at the park

CzarinaAnonuevo PhotographyaCzarinaAnonuevo Photographyb.jpg

A set of black-and-white photos I recently took at the park, specifically at Rizal/Luneta Park. I find colored pictures really amusing and lively. However, I sometimes discover myself fascinated and satisfied  with just the presence of this two hues. Perhaps, preference is not constant all the time.

{the blogger’s note} the virgin suicides

Today, I want to share a lookbook I recently discovered from FGR. At first glance, I instantly told myself that this set of photos really reminds of a film I just watched with my best friend. The moment I saw the description, my theory was correct. See for yourself:

Tess, Sophie & Michelle S by Robert Harper for Playing Fashion April 2012

The Still Point of the Turning World – Inspired by “The Virgin Suicides”, Robert Harper captures a story of youthful apathy for the April issue of Ukrainian magazine Playing Fashion. Stylist Verity Parker dresses Tess, Sophie and Michelle S in girly looks as they pose against colorful backdrops. Messy locks by hair stylist Keiichiro Hirano and understated makeup by Philippe Miletto perfect the nonchalant attitude. / Set design by Hatty Ellis-Coward”
For some of you who don’t have any idea about the said film, I researched a little back info;

The Virgin Suicides

“The Virgin Suicides (2000) Written and Directed by Sofia Coppola. Based on the novel by Jeffrey Eugenides. Starring Kirsten Dunst, Kathleen Turner, James Woods, Josh Hartnett, Danny DeVito, Scott Glenn, Giovanni Ribisi. Rated R. 96 minutes.”

“In a way, the Lisbon girls and the neighborhood boys never existed, except in their own adolescent imaginations. They were imaginary creatures, waiting for the dream to end through death or adulthood. “Cecilia was the first to go,” the narrator tells us right at the beginning. We see her talking to a psychiatrist after she tries to slash her wrists. “You’re not even old enough to know how hard life gets,” he tells her. “Obviously, doctor,” she says, “you’ve never been a 13-year-old girl.” No, but his profession and every adult life is to some degree a search for the happiness she does not even know she has.” -Roger Ebert

The first set of photos aren’t mine, got it from FGR and Google. So if one of the pictures belongs to you, don’t hesitate to be acknowledged. Shoot an email. The introductions and back info, I searched it on Google also.

Pastel Pink and Mint Green for Friday. Decided to implement some changes on the blog. I guess these are due to sudden shift of thoughts and goals. Change is normal. It constantly keeps us moving forward; towards the better version of ourselves and what we do. With a new mind set, let’s face new challenges.
